Geography
Location
33 km west of Mozyr , 16 km from the Ptich railway station (on the Gomel - Luninets line ), 163 km from Gomel .
Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, then the highway Gomel - Luninets . The layout is quarterly, there are 3 parallel rectilinear streets of meridional orientation, intersected by 2 short rectilinear latitudinal streets. The building is wooden, manor type.
History
The burial mound of the X - XI century discovered by archaeologists (12 embankments, 2 km south-west of the village, in the Meshchansky tract) indicates the settlement of these places since ancient times. According to written sources, it has been known since the beginning of the 20th century as a village in the Sloboda-Skrygalov volost of the Mozyr district of the Minsk province .
The most active development dates back to the 1920s. In 1932, residents entered the collective farm . During World War II, 30 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census, as part of the Druzhba collective farm (the center is the village of Skrygalov ). The club worked.
