On the territory of the landscape reserve "Mozyr Ravines" [1] . Near the village is a clay deposit.
There is a rehabilitation and health center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus.

Geography
Location
6 km south of Mozyr , 6 km from the Kozenki railway station (on the Kalinkovichi - Ovruch line ), 139 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
On the Pripyat River (a tributary of the Dnieper River ).
Transportation Network
Transport links on a country road, then on roads that leave from Mozyr. The layout consists of a rectilinear meridional street, to which an alley joins in from the west. The building is wooden, dense, manor type.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a village in the Mozyr district of the Minsk province . In 1930, the collective farm “Red Belarus” was organized, a brick factory and a forge worked. During World War II, 16 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census, as part of the collective farm named after M.I. Kalinin (center - the village of Bobrenyata ).
