Location
42 km south-west of Mozyr , 175 km from Gomel , 32 km from the Yelsk railway station (on the Kalinkovichi - Ovruch line ).

Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, then the Makhnovichi -Mozyr highway . The layout consists of a rectilinear latitudinal street, which intersects in the center with a short street, and in the east a lane joins it. Two-sided building, wooden, manor type.
History
The burial mounds discovered by archaeologists (43 and 23 embankments, 1-1.5 km west of the village) indicate the settlement of these places since ancient times. According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a village in the Meleshkovichi volost of the Mozyr district of the Minsk province . In 1930 the collective farm “Red Champion” was organized, the forge worked. During the Great Patriotic War in July 1943, the invaders completely burned the village and killed 22 residents. 43 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census as a part of the collective farm “Ray of October” (center - the village of Makhnovichi ). The club worked.
