Geography
Location
19 km to the north-west from Loev , 59 km from the Rechitsa railway station (on the Gomel - Kalinkovichi line ), 79 km from Gomel .
Transportation Network
Transport links on the country, then the highway Bragin - Kholmech . The layout consists of a curved street oriented from the south-west to the north-east, to the center of which from the west a short rectilinear street is connected. The building is loose, wooden, manor type.
History
The ancient settlement of the 4th – 3rd centuries BC discovered by archaeologists e. (1.3 km to the north-east of the village) indicates the settlement of these places since ancient times. According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a village in the Ruchaevsky volost of the Rechitsa district of the Minsk province . In 1879, a village in the Ruchaevsky church parish . According to the 1897 census, a literacy school operated.
From December 8, 1926 to December 30, 1927, the center of the Yastrebsky Village Council of Kholmemsky , from August 4, 1927 of the Loyevsky districts of Rechitsky, from June 9, 1927 of the Gomel Districts. In 1930, the collective farm “Soviet Belarus” was organized, the forge worked. During World War II, the invaders in 1943 burned 152 yards. According to the 1959 census, the library worked as part of the V.I. Lenin state farm (the center is the village of Uborkok ).
