Trostenets ( Belorussian. Trastsyants ) is a village in the Byvalkovsky village council of the Loevsky district of the Gomel region of Belarus .

Location
16 km south-west of Loev , 76 km from the Rechitsa railway station (on the Gomel - Kalinkovichi line ), 100 km from Gomel .
Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, then the Bragin -Loew highway . The layout consists of a straight street, close to the meridional orientation. The building is bilateral, wooden, manor type.
History
It was founded at the beginning of the 20th century by immigrants from neighboring villages. In 1930 the Udarnik collective farm was organized, the forge was working. During the Great Patriotic War, in 1943, the invaders burned down 53 courtyards, killing 12 people. According to the census of 1959 in the collective farm "Lenin's flag" (center - the village of Byvalki ). The club acted.
