Geography
Location
16 km south-west of Loev , 76 km from the Rechitsa railway station (on the Gomel - Kalinkovichi line ), 100 km from Gomel .
Transportation Network
Transport links on the country, then the highway Bragin - Loev. The layout consists of a short rectilinear street oriented from the south-west to the north-east and built up on two-sided wooden peasant estates .
History
Discovered by archaeologists of the VII century BC e. - II century AD e., a settlement of the 3rd — 5th centuries A.D. e. and early feudal time (1.8 km to the southeast), the mound (1.2 km east of the village) indicate the settlement of these places since ancient times. The modern village was founded at the beginning of the 20th century by immigrants from neighboring villages. The most active development occurred in the 1920s. In 1931, residents entered the collective farm . According to the 1959 census, as part of the collective farm "Lenin flag" (center - the village of Byvalki ).
