Location
10 km north of Korma , 65 km from the railway station Rogachev (on the line Mogilev - Zhlobin ), 120 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
On the Vileyka River (a tributary of the Sozh River ).
Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, then the Korma- Litvinovichi road . The layout consists of a curved street with lanes. Built up on two sides with wooden peasant estates .
History
Since ancient times, human activity in these places is evidenced by the ancient settlement of Milograd culture discovered by archaeologists (1.5 km south-east of the village, on the right bank of the Muzhanka River, in the tract Gorodok), dating back to the 7th century BC. e. - II century BC e., and a burial mound (3 embankments, 0.6 km south-west of the village). According to written sources, it has been known since the 17th century . In 1629, King Sigismund III allowed in the village of Zyatkovichi of the Chechersky volost to hold a 3-day fair once a year without levying trade duties. In 1704 there was a 2 smoke church, in the Litvinovichi Voivodship of the Rechitsa Povet of the Minsk Voivodeship of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania .
After the 1st partition of the Commonwealth (1772) as part of the Russian Empire . Since 1832, a tavern has been operating, since 1884 a bread store. In 1909, 502 tithes of the earth. In 1929 the Red Plowman collective farm was organized, a windmill and a forge worked. According to the 1959 census, a club and a library worked in the collective farm named after P. M. Lepeshinsky (center - the village of Litvinovichi ).
