Location

13 km south of Korma , 50 km from the Buda-Koshelevskaya railway station (on the Gomel - Zhlobin line ), 77 km from Gomel .

Hydrography

On the Gorna River (a tributary of the Sozh River ).

Transportation Network

History

According to written sources, it has been known since the 17th century as a village in the Rechitsa district of the Minsk Voivodeship of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania . According to the inventory of 1704 of the Chechersky elder, the boyar settlement of 6 smokes. After the 1st partition of the Commonwealth (1772) as part of the Russian Empire . According to the revision of 1816, the village, in the Rasokh volost of the Rogachev district of the Mogilev province . The owner of the eponymous farm in 1875 owned 294 tithes of land and a water mill. In 1883, a grocery store worked. According to the 1897 census, 2 windmills were operating in the village and outskirts, and there was a nearby farm . In 1909, in the outskirts of 201 tithes of land, in the village of 344 tithes of land. In 1911, a school was opened, which was located in a hired peasant house.

In 1930, the Iskra collective farm was organized, a windmill and a forge worked. According to the 1959 census, as part of the collective farm named after G.M. Dimitrov (the center is the village of Vornovka ).
