Location
8 km north-east of the regional center and the Kalinkovichi railway station (on the Gomel - Luninets line ), 118 km from Gomel .

Transportation Network
Transport links on the country, then the highway Gomel - Luninets . The layout consists of a rectilinear street, oriented from the southeast to northwest, has branches to the east and west. The building is loose, wooden manor type.
History
It was founded at the beginning of the 20th century by immigrants from neighboring villages. In 1931, residents joined the collective farm , there was an elementary school (in 1935, 65 students). During World War II in May-June 1944, the village housed residents from the village of Gorokhovo , which was located in the frontline. 31 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census, the Kalinkovichsky state farm (the center is the village of Gorochichi ) housed a feldsher-midwife station. Until January 15, 1996 as part of the Gorochichsky Village Council [1] .
