Location
23 km southeast of Kalinkovich , 15 km from the railway station Golevitsy (on the line Gomel - Luninets ), 120 km from Gomel .

History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 16th century as the Autichi village in the Mozyr district of the Minsk Voivodeship of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania , and grand ducal property. In 1552, in the inventory of the Mozyr castle, the nature and size of the duties that residents were required to perform in favor of the castle were indicated. By 1560, it is listed in the acts on the demarcation of villages with neighboring villages. In the 17th century, immigrants from the village of Avtyuchavichy founded a new village and called it Small Avtyuki, and the village of Avtyuchavichy became known as Great Avtyuki, but the words Avtyuki and Avtyuchavichi were used together for a long time in the village names. The complaint of the owners of the Menchinsky village to Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich , written in the autumn of 1654 in connection with the looting of the village, has been preserved. Under 1774 is indicated in the documents on the specification of the borders of the village.
After the 2nd division of the Commonwealth (1793) as part of the Russian Empire . In 1929, the collective farms "Red Wrestler" and "Red Star" were organized, a steam mill (since 1925), an equestrian krupoderoka (since 1926), a forge and a wool shop were operating. Released on January 12, 1944. In battles near the village, 315 Soviet soldiers died (buried in a mass grave 2 km south of the village). Among the buried Hero of the Soviet Union A. A. Knyazev . 214 residents died at the front and in the partisan struggle. According to the 1959 census as part of the state farm "Golyavichi" (center - the village of Alexandrovka ). In 1995, the first all-Belarusian festival of satire and humor took place here in 1997. And subsequently, their conduct has completely become a good tradition. Hero of the Soviet Union Yakov Moskalenko was born in the village.
