Mitkina Street is a street in Vladikavkaz , North Ossetia , Russia . The street is located in the Zaterechny municipal district of Vladikavkaz, between the streets of Kotsoev and Gastello . It starts from the street Kotsoev. Karl Marx Street, Kosta Avenue , Ardonskaya Street, Zaurbek Kaloyev Street, Turgenevskaya Street and Goncharova Cross the Mitkin Street.

History
The street is named after the hero of the Soviet Union, Boris Viktorovich Mitkin .
The street was formed in the middle of the XIX century and was first marked as Serpukhovskaya Street on the map of the “Caucasian Territory”, which was published in the 60s – 70s of the XIXth century.
On April 15, 1975, by the decision of the Executive Committee of the Orzhonikidze City Council of People's Deputies, Serpukhovskaya Street was renamed Mitkina Street.
