Sharshunov, Vyacheslav Alekseevich

He graduated from the Belarusian Agricultural Academy in 1971 . Since 1971, he has been a senior engineer-controller of the Rudnyansky district branch of the Smolensk regional production association Rosselkhoztekhnika. Since 1973 , he was a foreman at the site of the mechanical workshop No. 1 of the Gomselmash plant.

Since 1973 he worked as an assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, head of the department of mechanization of animal husbandry at the Academy. In 1980, he defended his thesis, and in 1990 - his doctoral dissertation. In 1992-1995 worked as a rector of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy. From 1995 to 1997 - Head of the Main Department of Personnel and Agrarian Education of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus . In 1995, he was elected to the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus . In 1997, he joined the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus to work as a deputy of the House of Representatives on a professional basis. He worked as deputy chairman of the Standing Committee on Education, Culture, Science. Since 2000 - Deputy Chairman of the State Certification Committee of the Republic of Belarus. In 2003—2017. ^[1] - Rector of the Mogilev University of Food . Scientific work on the development and implementation of energy-saving technologies, sets of machines and equipment for harvesting, processing and use of agricultural crops for seeds and animal feed, as well as on the history of science, technology and education in Belarus. The author of 66 textbooks, manuals, reference books and books, as well as 452 scientific and scientific-methodological works and 74 inventions protected by A.S. USSR and patents of the Republic of Belarus.
