The East Belorussian province of the secondary moraine and loess landscapes is an individual natural-territorial complex of the rank of a landscape province allocated in the landscape zoning system of Belarus .
The province is confined to the east of Belarus and extends from the border with Russia to the west to the Tolochin - Bykhov line . Its southern border runs near the town of Korma , Krasnopole , Kostyukovichi , Khotimsk . The province occupies about 11% of the territory of Belarus.
A characteristic feature of the landscape structure of the province is the predominance of subtaiga medium-high and elevated landscapes. The proportion of low- level PTK is negligible. Landscapes of only two genera dominate and determine the appearance of the region - secondary - marine and loessic , occupying about 70% of its territory. Secondary water-glacial and moraine-sandra landscapes are also significantly represented.
A characteristic feature of the province is the wide distribution of forests.
