Biography
Born in a family of employees. He graduated from the Kuibyshev Institute of Culture with a degree in theater and mass theater director, higher directing courses in St. Petersburg .
Since 1979, he has been working at the Tbilisi State Russian Drama Theater named after A. S. Griboedov. Since 1989 - the managing director of the theater. Member of the Theater Society of Georgia.
Founder and director of the Center for Russian Culture in Georgia (1992-2003). From 2003 to the present time - founder and president of the Russian Club International Cultural and Educational Union. Head of the publication of the monthly social and art magazine Russian Club.
Member of the Presidium of the International Council of Russian Compatriots (ICRC). One of the founders of the International Federation of Russian-Speaking Writers (IFRW) in Georgia. From 2007 to the present time - head, co-organizer and coordinator of the annual International Russian-Georgian Poetry Festival.
Over the years, N. N. Sventitsky has organized and implemented more than 150 cultural projects, the purpose of which was to deepen and improve relations between Russia and Georgia, bring the peoples of the two countries closer, strengthen the position of Russian culture and the Russian language in Georgia, create a positive image of Russia - creative evenings famous cultural figures ( E.
