Near the Old Turbaslov are the sources of the Shugurovka River and the Steklyanka River flowing into it.

History
Until 1996, the village was part of the Annunciation region of the Republic of Bashkortostan [2]
Population
In 2002, 1062 people lived. In 1979 and 2002, censuses accounted for a significant percentage of the Bashkir population. In 2002, 52% of the Tatars and 42% of the Bashkirs. An early medieval settlement “Turbaslinskoe” was excavated in the vicinity of the village [3]
Famous residents
Mullayar Islamgareevich Syrtlanov (1923-1944) - commander of the 569th Infantry Regiment, Hero of the Soviet Union, studied at the Staro-Turbasly High School. In the courtyard of the school there is a bust of the Hero. One of the streets in the village is named after him.
