Idea and Design

Initially, the customer for the construction of the Chagalar Dunyasi shopping and entertainment center for children (Detsky Mir) was a subsidiary of MTS OJSC and BCTI - MTS Turkmenistan Economic Society (XO MTS TM), and the investor was the Russian AFK Sistema ” , The contractor was Renaissance Construction. ^[one]

Construction

Detsky Mir was erected in Ashgabat on Garashsyzlyk Avenue next to the World of Turkmen Tales entertainment complex. The cost of the object without furniture and equipment, with landscaping of the adjacent territory was to amount to 22 million 977 thousand US dollars. In connection with the situation with BCTI, in May 2011 there was a revision of the construction conditions of the facility. The object was completed by the Turkish company Ronesans Turkmen (a subsidiary of Renaissance Construction) by order of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan ^[2] .

Opening

The opening of the Detsky Mir shopping center took place on October 19, 2011 . The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov , Turkmen politicians, members of the public and young Ashgabat people attended the grand opening of the building ^[3] .
