Gikalo street (Vladikavkaz)

Gikalo Street - a street in Vladikavkaz , North Ossetia , Russia . The street is located in the Zereterek municipal district of Vladikavkaz between the streets of Kotsoev and Zaurbek Kaloev . It starts from Kaloeva street. Ardonskaya streets, Costa Avenue , Spartak and Karl Marx streets cross the street. From the even side of Gikalo Street, Srednaya Street begins.

History

The street is named after the Soviet state and party leader Nikolai Gikalo .

The street was formed in the middle of the 19th century and was first marked as Vodovoznaya Street on the map of the "Caucasus Region", which was published in the 60s and 70s of the 19th century.

From October 25, 1922 to March 5, 1938, Gikalo Street existed in Vladikavkaz (currently Nekrasov Street ) [1] .

Since 1974, it has been marked on the map of Ordzhonikidze as Gikalo Street.
