Career

Club

A pupil of Karaganda football, he began to play as a left-back [2] . The first trainer was a children's coach Anatoly Vladimirovich Chudinov, who at different times in the Shakhtar training group started personalities known in Karaganda football - Nikolai Igamberdiev, Petr Asylbaev, Yuri Gridzhan, Sergey Stukashov , Andrei Kurdyumov, Askar Abildaev and others. However, Chudinov soon passed away, so he was forced to go under the leadership of ex- Shakhtar player, USSR master of sports Gennady Kostyuchenko. He helped Finonchenko open up. He often attacked and pointed out errors.

At the age of 18, they were invited for the first time and started trying in the team of masters. Since 2001, he has been playing at the local club Shakhtar . On April 28, the first match of the football player in the Shakhtar T-shirt took place in the match against Kokshetau Esil [3] , but failed to score goals in the debut year.

The first goal was scored by the Vostok-Altyn team from Ust-Kamenogorsk in 2003, as part of the national championship. The team then won with a score of 1: 0 [4] . At the end of the 2003 season , when the striker became the top scorer of the national championship, scoring 18 goals, he received invitations from a number of clubs in Kazakhstan. Upon reflection, he remained faithful to his native city and club.

In February 2017, he announced the completion of his professional career as a football player. According to the Executive Director of Shakhtar Askar Abildaev , in the near future Finonchenko will enter the coaching staff of the team.

Team

On June 6, 2003, Andrei made his debut in the national team of the country . It was a friendly match against the Polish national team , which took place in the city of Poznan and ended in a 3-0 victory for the hosts.

On February 19, 2004, at an international tournament in Cyprus, Finonchenko first scored a goal for the national team. The goal took place in a duel with the team of Armenia [5] . In total, he held 19 meetings for the national team of Kazakhstan and scored 4 goals.
