Shnurov, Sergey Vladimirovich

Born April 13, 1973 in Leningrad . He studied at comprehensive school 564 ^[5] , then entered the Leningrad Civil Engineering Institute , and, not finishing, moved to the Restoration Lyceum. And you can no longer be an artist, because an artist is a creature almost close to the Presidential Administration, that is, he must speak a purely literary language, without using those words that, of course, are used by everyone. This is the legacy of the Romanticism era, which has not yet recovered. And in Russia we still live in some era, as I call it, of Turkish Baroque. Where the baluster is high art, and some modern art and logs are no longer high art. Not art, not culture, has nothing to do with culture in the broad sense. On May 12, 2017, followers of the Flying Pasta Monster Church recognized Sergey Shnurov as their saints, for which he expressed his gratitude to them. The reason for the canonization was his song about instant noodles ^[43] .

The famous Russian TV journalist Vladimir Pozner in August 2017 negatively commented on the experience of an interview with Sergei Shnurov (it was shown on the Pozner broadcast on the First in October 2016) and called the musician “empty” and “uninteresting” ^[44] . “ I did not know that he was like that.
