• six-time champion of Israel (1946-47, 1949-50, 1951-52, 1953-54, 1955-56, 1957-58),

Having switched to coaching, at the head of Maccabi (Tel Aviv) he achieved the following achievements:

• Israel Cup win (1958-1959)
• victory in the AFC Champions League (1967, 1969)

At the head of the Israeli team won the Asian Football Cup (1964).
