- Frame size - 24 × 36 mm.
- The lens " Industar-73 " 2,8 / 40, non-replaceable, thread for the filter M49 × 0.75. Focus on the paired rangefinder . The limits of focus are from 0.8 m to infinity. A depth scale for sharply depicted space is applied to the lens barrel .
- Optical viewfinder , with highlighted frames for indicating frame borders and parallax compensation.
- Electronically controlled central shutter . Worked out stepless shutter speed from 2 to 1/500 sec. " Excerpt by hand " is missing.
- The Elektra-112 camera has only a central sync contact “X”. When using flash with cable sync , a third-party adapter is required. When you insert the flash into the clip, the camera mechanism automatically sets the shutter speed to 1/30 sec.
- 1/4 inch tripod thread .
The principle of the apparatus
- The camera’s power source is a 4РЦ-53 battery, which can be replaced with four D-0.06 [2] nickel-cadmium disk batteries or four RC-53 [3] mercury-zinc cells (a modern analogue of PX-625 [4] ) There is control of the power source.
- Set the photosensitivity of the film by a ring located on the lens barrel . Values of photosensitivity from 16 to 500 units. GOST.
- The Electra-112 camera is an automatic machine with aperture priority . Exponometric device with cadmium sulfide (CdS) photoresistor . Exposure compensation is possible only by changing the photosensitivity value of the film. When applying filters, corrections are automatically made for their density.
- In automatic mode, the shutter works out continuously from 2 seconds. up to 1/500 sec. Aperture values are set manually from f / 2.8 to f / 22.
- In the field of view of the viewfinder are the LEDs for controlling the exposure device. Duplicate LED indicators are placed on the top panel of the device.
- A yellow indicator indicates that the shutter speed used by the shutter may be longer than 1/30 sec. It is recommended to use a tripod or change the aperture value by turning the adjustment ring in the direction of the yellow arrow (on the top panel of the camera).
- A red indicator light indicates that the shutter speed used by the shutter may be shorter than 1/500 sec (overexposure is possible). It is recommended to change the aperture value by turning the adjustment ring in the direction of the red arrow (on the top panel of the camera).
- The camera without power sources is inoperative.
Notes
- ↑ In Soviet literature, one can find a mention that for the Electra-112 camera it was planned to release the back wall with an electronic device for imprinting the date in the frame ( year, month, date ). A similar back wall was not mass-produced.
