Santiago de Huari ( Spanish: Santiago de Huari , Quechua Santiago Wari ) is a city in the west of central Bolivia . The administrative center of the province of Sebastian-Pagador in the department of Oruro .

Geography
Located 139 km south of the city of Oruro , at an altitude of 3742 m above sea level, at the mouth of the Asanakes River, near Lake Poopo .
Climate
The climate of the city is rather cold and arid. The average annual temperature is about 9 ° C, varies from 5 (in June and July) to 11 ° C (from November to March). The annual rainfall is about 300 mm, the pronounced dry season is from April to October, the rainiest month is January.
Population
The population according to the 2001 census was 2999 people [1] ; according to 2010, it is 3695 people [2] .
