Wanuni ( Spanish Huanuni , Quechua Wanuni ) is a city in the west of the central part of Bolivia . The administrative center of the province of Pantaleon Dalense in the department of Oruro .

Geography
Located 44 km south-west of the city of Oruro , at an altitude of 3957 m above sea level, on the river Uanuni.
Climate
The climate of the city is rather cold and dry. The average annual temperature is about 10 ° С, and the annual precipitation is about 400 mm.
Population
The population according to the 2001 census was 15,106 [1] ; according to 2010 it is 17 378 people [2] .
