Esman is a river in Ukraine , the right tributary of Kleveni , the Dnieper basin. It has a length of 60 km, the catchment area of 634 km². The river slope is 1.0 m / km. The valley is trough-shaped, up to 4 km wide, the Esmani floodplain is bilateral. The channel is moderately winding, up to 15 m wide.

The source is located in a swampy forest northeast of the village of Chervonoe . The river flows through the territory of the Glukhovsky and Putivl districts of the Sumy region . Along the coast there are water protection strips. Used for irrigation and fishing. There are 4 reservoirs built on the river. The city of Glukhov is located on Esmani.
The name of the Esman River is of Iranian origin and translates as "a beautiful path."
