History
Between 1991 and 1995, Argentina sold Ecuador and Croatia, which were at the time fighting (the Alto Senep War and the War in Croatia ), 6,500 tons of weapons (rifles, guns, anti-tank missiles and ammunition). At the same time, the UN Security Council imposed an embargo on the supply of weapons to the countries of the former Yugoslavia, which included Croatia. Officially, the weapons were intended for Panama and Venezuela. Presumably, in order to hide the traces of the theft of weapons, an explosion was organized at a military factory in Rio Tercero.
A total of 18 people were involved in the case.
