The Ungheni and Nisporeni Diocese ( Eparhia de Ungheni şi Nisporeni ) is the diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church with a center in the city of Ungheni , which is part of the Orthodox Church of Moldova .

It unites parishes and monasteries on the territory of Ungheni , Nisporeni , Kalarash and Hinchesh districts of Moldova .
Content
History
It was founded on October 6, 2006 by the decision of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church (Journal No. 105) by separating the parishes of the Ungheni , Nisporeni and Kalarash districts of Moldova from the Chisinau Metropolis .
At the time of its formation, the diocese had 100 parishes and 8 monasteries.
By the decision of the Holy Synod of December 24, 2010 (magazine No. 122), the parishes of the Hincesti region of the Republic of Moldova were added to the Ungheni diocese by separating them from the Cagul-Comrat diocese.
