Black and Gold Diagonal Flag
The black - gold or black - yellow flag is used by various market anarchists: agorists , voluntarists , anarcho capitalists , etc. Like the flags of other anarchist movements, it is divided diagonally. One half is black, which symbolizes anarchy , the other half is yellow, symbolizing gold as a medium of exchange, often used in markets free from government interference . The flag was first used in public in 1963 in Colorado at events in , organized by [3] .
Black and gray diagonal flag
The black - gray flag is used by agorists (revolutionary market anarchists) along with the black and gold flag and the traditional black banner of anarchism. Its symbolism reflects the agorist concept of revolution, which presupposes the elimination of the state by expanding black and gray markets [4] . The black color symbolizes the black market , where people peacefully exchange goods and services contrary to government bans on such activities. Gray symbolizes the , where people exchange goods and services that are not illegal by themselves, while not submitting to government regulation and boycotting taxation . Thus, the symbolism of the flag reflects the agorist understanding of the achievement of a free society through the direct implementation of free exchange [4] .
“A” in a circle with a dollar sign
Symbol A in a circle with the addition of a dollar sign between the crossbar of the letter and the border of the circle is a relative innovation ( 2010 ) in the symbolism of market anarchism. As in the case of the black and gold flag , it combines the traditional symbol of anarchy and money symbolism, which reflects the idea of voluntary exchange , the free market and private issue of money .
Ama-gi
Ama-gi is a Sumerian word, the first written expression of the concept of freedom . Literally translated, it means “return to mother”, i.e. release [5] [6]
Libertatis ilibquilibritas
The symbol Libertatis ilibquilibritas ( Latin for “Equilibrium of Freedom”) was created by [7] and is used by some adherents of anarcho-capitalism. It is based on the “A in a circle” symbol, but also includes the yin-yang sign and the dollar sign . “And in the circle” means absolute freedom, as freedom is achievable only in an anarchist society , while yin-yang symbolizes the balance of a completely free market . The dollar symbol means capitalism in the sense of a free market and the natural right to private property . [8] This allows anarcho-capitalists to distance themselves from those anarchist movements that oppose capitalism .
Voluntarist "V"
Voluntarist "V" ( born V for Voluntary - literally. "V means Voluntary" , also English. Voluntary victory - "victory of voluntariness" ) was created in 2007 [9] and beats the phrase " V - means vendetta ." However, if “ vendetta ” means revenge ( eng. Vengeance ) and violence ( eng. Violence), “voluntariness” means peace and progress.
Yellow (gold) and black have the same meanings as they have on the black and gold flag of market anarchists. The shape of the upper part of the symbol is a stylized handshake , which is the most typical expression of voluntary agreement .
Voluntarists also use the symbol “V in a circle”, which consists of the letter “V” enclosed in a circle. It is meaningfully associated with the well-known anarchist symbol “ A in a circle ”, but in this case the emphasis is placed on the principle of voluntariness in the anarchic ideal. "V in a circle" can be written with the Unicode U+24CB : Ⓥ . In addition, recording (V) can be used to quickly transfer the “V in a circle” symbol using the keyboard layout .
Symbol "A 3 "
Along with the voluntarist “V” a popular symbol of market anarchists is the symbol of agorists (revolutionary market anarchists). Agora is a Greek word for open market . The agorist symbol is based on the “A in a circle” sign, to which the number “3” is added to the top right. Thus, this symbol is simultaneously a reference to the agorists slogan “Agora! Anarchy! Activity! ” ( Eng. Agora! Anarchy! Action! ) [4] and to the name of the Agorist Action Alliance . [ten]
