Jan Harouz ( Czech Jan Charouz ; born July 17, 1987 , Prague ) is a Czech racing driver, champion of the 2006 F3000 International Masters , winner of the 2009 Le Mans series. In 2010, he was a test pilot in Formula 1 in the Renault team, and also performed in Formula Renault 3.5 and in the Auto GP championship .

Auto racing career
Renault F1 Team
In the 2010 season , Jan Harrows became a test pilot in the Renault F1 team. As a test pilot, he participates in meetings of the Renault F1 Team and he could be recruited to practice for free in the official colors of the Renault F1 team. Harouz works closely with the team and also participates in promotional events. On March 18, 2010 , Harouse rode a Renault R29 for the first time in his career during the adaptability at the Silverstone circuit in the UK.

24 Hours of Le Mans
2009
Successful cooperation with the Aston Martin Racing factory, the team continued in the 2009 season and a similar program as in the previous two seasons was prepared for January. He participated in the full season of the 2009 Le Mans series and the 2009 24 hours of Le Mans however the team presented itself with a completely new built-in prototype Aston Martin LMP1. Jan Harouz, together with his teammates Tomasz Enge (Czech Republic) and Stefan Mücke (GER) took fourth place at 24:00 Le Mans . He received No. 007 of the car. Ian, Tomasz Enge and Stefan Mukke with Aston Martin Racing crowned the 2009 Le Mans Series Champions claiming that teams and drivers names 50 years after winning the Aston Martin World Sports Car Championship in 1959 with DBR1. 007 LMP1 cars Jana, Thomas and Stefan received five podiums (including two victories in Barcelona and the Nurburgring) from five races.
Formula 1 debut
On November 24, 2011, it was announced that Jan Harrows will make his Formula 1 debut behind the wheel of an HRT team car, performing in his first practice during the 2011 Brazilian Grand Prix [1] .
