Ladislao Cabrera ( Spanish: Provincia de Ladislao Cabrera , Quechua Ladislao Cabrera pruwinsya ) - one of the 16 provinces of the Bolivian department of Oruro . The area is 8818 km². According to the data for 2001, the population is 11 698 people. The population density is 1.8 people / km². The administrative center is the city of Salinas de Garcy Mendoza.

Geography
Located in the southern part of the department. The province stretches for 100 km from north to south and 125 km from west to east. Borders on the provinces of Atahualpa (in the west), Sud Karangas (in the north), Eduardo Avaroa (in the east) and Sebastian-Padagor (in the northeast), as well as with the Potosi department (in the south).
Population
The most common languages are Aymara and Spanish; part of the population also speaks Quechua. Catholics make up 85.4%; Protestants - 10.2%. 82.4% of the provincial population is engaged in agriculture. According to the 1992 census, the population of Ladislao Cabrera was 7363 people.
