In the late 1970s and 1980s, she painted doujinshi in the “ yaoi ” genre, coining this term together with Akiko Hatsu . One of her doujinshi, Loveri , was among the first works that were described as “junkies”. [3] [4] Her most famous works are Jikan wo Warerani , Yamiyo no Hon and Basil Shi no Yuuga na Seikatsu [5] (“The elegant life of Mr. Bezil”) about the life of a British aristocrat in the 19th century.
