Biography
Ninel Ivanovna Podgornaya (nee Bodryagina) was born on January 6, 1931 in Leningrad. After graduating from high school, she entered the physics department of Leningrad State University , where, however, she studied for only two years. At the same time, she played at the Leningrad State University student theater under the direction of Igor Gorbachev . In 1950, she came to Moscow and entered the acting department of the Theater School. Shchepkina , graduated from it in 1954 and in the same year was admitted to the Central Academic Theater of the Soviet Army . Her first work in cinema in 1955 - Claudius in "The Case of Rumyantsev" directed by Joseph Heifits immediately brought fame to the young artist. However, the actress was more attracted to the theater and as a result played only in three films in the late 1950s.
Her subsequent fate was closely connected with the theater of the Soviet (later Russian) army. Among the roles played over 60 years in the theater are such roles as Zinochka (“The Story of a Real Man”), Lyubochka (“Father and Son”), Zoya (“Fortress over the Bug”), Nina (“Bright May”), Zina (“Stone” Bird ”), Vera (“ The King’s Grandson ”), Florella (“ Dance Teacher ”), Bianca (“ The Taming of the Shrew ”), Krista (“ The Means of Makropoulos ”), Dasha (“ Going through the agony ”), Dolly Hamm (“ Orpheus descends to Hell ”) and many others. One of the best stage creations of Ninel Ivanovna is the role of the Rosary in the play “My Family”.
She died on October 24, 2011 in Moscow at the Botkin Hospital [1] . The actress was buried on October 27 at the Vagankovsky cemetery in Moscow (plot number 6).
Family
- The first husband is actor Nikita Podgorny , for whom she married while studying with him at the school. The marriage lasted only a few years.
- The actual husband is actor Vladimir Soshalsky , who recaptured her from Nikita Podgorny, but the marriage also lasted only a few years; a daughter Katya was born in it [2] .
- In 1962, she married a physicist, a teacher at MVTU im. Bauman Kirill Borisovich Pavlov, subsequently professor; two daughters were born in marriage.
