Biography
Born in the city of Leningrad, (now St. Petersburg) on August 29, 1966, in the family of a Protestant priest.
Father - Shatrov Dmitry Leontyevich was Bishop of the All-Russian Religious Association of the Union of Churches of Evangelical Christians in the Spirit of the Apostles and served in the church of the same name from May 1972 to May 2002, until his death. Mother - Shatrova Elvira Vasilyevna, all her life she was in the ministry with her husband, raised four children.
Dmitry received secondary education at school number 90 in St. Petersburg. He spent out-of-school time with the youth of the evangelical churches, often participated in various public events, often underground. Already in his youthful years, organizational and leadership abilities were clearly manifested in him. During the "perestroika", as soon as the first opportunity for a public sermon appeared, the youth of the church, led by Dmitry, proclaimed the Gospel on the steps of the Kazan Cathedral every day for two years.
In 1983, Dmitry Shatrov entered the VTUZ at the Leningrad Metal Plant Production Association. During his studies, he worked at the LMZ and went from a blacksmith to an engineer. At the end of the institute, having received a diploma of a “process engineer”, he was sent to work in a specialty at the Svetlana NGO.
After completing the course of the military department, at the end of the university he was awarded the officer military rank of the tank forces of Russia. Currently has the title of "Captain of the tank forces." In 1996, Dmitry Shatrov graduated from the Evangelical Theological Academy in St. Petersburg, where he was awarded the degree "Bachelor of Religious Education".
In 1999, after graduating from St. Paul's Apostolic Christian University, Minnesota, USA, he received a Master's degree in Religious Education. In 2001, he graduated from the courses of the St. Petersburg International Institute of Management with a degree in Manager (basic course). In 2005, he took advanced training courses on the program “State-confessional relations: state, ways of improvement” at the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.
In 1990, at the request and blessing of his father, Dmitry Shatrov organized the RO Good News mission, which was created to serve people not only in the church itself, but also outside it.
In November 1998, he was ordained a priest. After the departure of Father Dmitry, Shatrov Dmitry Leontyevich to eternity on May 20, 2002, on May 26, 2002 by unanimous decision of the general meeting of the Church, Dmitry Shatrov was elected First Presbyter of the Church of the Gospel Christians in the Spirit of the Apostles. On the same day, in the presence of pastors of the fraternity of the Russian Federation, he was blessed to continue serving with increased responsibility by the President of the World Apostolic Community Samuel Smith and Senior Pastor of the Apostolic Church St. Paul, Minnesota, Robert Sabin. From that moment began a larger ministry of Dmitry, associated with the development of various ministries of the church and the OTV channel. Since December 2004, the Religious Organization of the Union of Churches of Evangelical Christians in the Spirit of the Apostles joined the ROSHVE.

Family
Dmitry is married. His wife, Shatrova Larisa Nikolaevna, helps him in the ministry, and also leads the church business. Together with his wife, they raised four sons: Daniel (born in 1989), Philip (born in 1990), Timothy (born in 1993), Zachariah (born in 2000).
Bishop ordination
