Basically, the album received very mixed reviews. The SPINE praised the group's debut album, however, like other critics, noted the low originality of the performance. Metal.de calls its Stahlmann debut album “too radio- friendly ” without “sharp corners and edges.” Musical reviews on musikreviews.de find performance flaws in “stoic rhythms, outdated EBM and simple riffs,” but praise Stahlmann's new album for its “creativity”. Lords of Metal rated the album rather poorly, calling it a “shameless copy” of Rammstein .
