Paruro ( Spanish: Paruro Province , Quechua Paruru pruwinsya ) - one of the 13 provinces of the Peruvian region of Cuzco . The area is 1984 km². The population is 32,244; population density - 16.25 people / km². The capital is the city of the same name .

Geography
It borders with the provinces: Cuzco (in the north), Kispikanchi and Acomayo (in the east), Anta (in the northwest), Chumbivilkas (in the south), as well as with the Apurimak region (in the west).
