Newspaper vending machine ( newspaper , newspaper + machine ) - a vending machine designed to distribute newspapers . Such machines are used in many countries, and they are often one of the main ways of distributing newspapers. There are mechanical, not requiring power supply and more modern with electrical and electronic equipment.
History
A newspaper vending machine was first assembled in 1947 by inventor George Simer Hemmeter [1] [2] . In the beginning, two models were produced, one with a capacity of 1250 newspaper pages, and the other 2500 newspaper pages [3] . Today, newspaper vending machines have begun to lose their popularity, as many newspapers are now distributed via the Internet.

In 2009, various artists and inventors began working on the reprofiling of such machines [4] [5] .
