Eddie Steeples is an American actor, producer, director and screenwriter. He starred in the famous American television series My Name is Earl as Darnell Turner . He is also known for his role as the Rubberband Man in OfficeMax commercials.

Biography
Eddie Steeples was born on November 25, 1973 in Texas and he was the eldest of eight children. He grew up in a religious family, his stepfather was a preacher. Since childhood, Eddie wanted to become an actor, so his mother was not surprised when he announced his plans to study acting. Having received a matriculation certificate at the Klein Oak High School in 1992, Steeples moved to Santa Cruz, where he took acting classes at a community college. After moving to New York, Steeples became a member of the hip hop band No Surrender. For several years he toured with the group, wrote texts, scripts, but did not show anyone what was written.
In New York, Eddie starred in several films of the MoFreek Production experimental film studio, but these roles brought him neither fame nor big money. He was also invited by a guest to the popular comedy program The Chris Rock Show. Stiples became famous for OfficeMax commercials. Before appearing in the TV series “ My Name is Earl ”, Eddie Steeples played in four films, but real recognition came to him after the role of Turner “Turner” Darnell.
On account of Steeples already more than 20 roles in films and series, he wrote the scripts of 2 films, produced four films and shot one picture.
