Biography
Born in 1786 in Sweden.
In 1812 he moved to the city of Abo , where he worked on various architectural projects.
In 1829, he was appointed city architect of the city of Abo (Turku) and held this position until 1859. He was the designer of many buildings both in Abo and other cities, working in the Empire style .
After the death of the architect Karl Engel , from 1840 to 1844 he completed work on the construction of a church designed by the late architect in honor of St. Queen Alexandra in Abo.
He died in 1875 in the Grand Duchy of Finland.
