Baron Nikolai Alekandrovich Vrangel ( 1869 , Strelna - 1927 , Rome ) is a Russian general from the Wrangel clan who manages the affairs and adjutant of Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich .

Biography
The son of a diplomat Baron Alexander Egorovich Wrangel [1] .
In 1890 he graduated from the Alexander Lyceum . In 1891, he passed the officer exam at the Nikolaevsky Cavalry School on the first grade and was determined to be a Horse Guards Regiment .
Ranks: Cornet Guard (1891), Lieutenant of the Guard (1895), Staff Captain of the Guard (1900), Captain of the Guard (1903), Army Lieutenant Colonel (1903), Colonel (1907), Major General (1916).
In 1901 he was enrolled in the office of Empress Maria Feodorovna . Served i.d. clerk of the manager of affairs (1901-1907), clerk of the manager of affairs (1907-1909), secretary (1909-1912), adjutant (since 1911) and manager of affairs (1912-1913) with Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich . In 1911 he published a collection of "Poems", reprinted in 1913.
In 1913-1914 he was the commander of the 16th Irkutsk Hussars . In 1914 he returned to the post of adjutant of Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich. On April 19, 1917 was in the reserve ranks at the headquarters of the Dvina military district .
After the revolution he emigrated to Italy . In 1927 he committed suicide .

Family
In June 1894, in the Dresden Orthodox Church, N. A. Wrangel was married to 19-year-old maid of honor, Maria Vladimirovna Skaryatina, the sister of the occultist M. V. Skaryatina . Divorced in 1907. Children from this marriage [1] :

- Vera (19.5.1896 -?), In December 1918 in London, she married N. D. Semenov-Tian-Shansky (1888-1974)
- Vladimir (19.2.1898 —?)

All children, except Vera, were born on the estate of Terpilitsa .
The second marriage, 16/7/1915, married Baroness Elizabeth Bartholdovna (Feodorovna) Goyningen-Gyune (1891-1973), sister of the famous American photographer , but already in 1916 he was divorced from her. In December 1922, "Betty" Wrangell married a British officer, Charles Norman Buzzard (1873–1961) [2] , a hero of the First World War [3] . In the years 1922-1933. headed the Paris fashion house Yteb [4] .
