Since 1991, the development of the helicopter was carried out by the Chinese company Changhe Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation based on the French helicopter Eurocopter AS.350 Écureuil [2] .

He made his first flight in December 1994 (according to other sources - in 1997 [3] ). Able to reach speeds of up to 278 kilometers per hour and fly to a distance of 652 kilometers.
Helicopters are manufactured under license by the Argentine company FAdeA under the brand name "Pampero" [4] [5] [6] [7] .
Currently, the Avicopter AC301 civilian helicopter is being developed on the basis of Z-11 [8] .
