Render farm

A render farm is a computer cluster for rendering computer graphics using offline batch processing. Usually used to create visual effects in movies and TV shows.

The task of rendering complex scenes is quite resource-intensive. Its parallelization and execution on multiple computers at once allows to significantly reduce the time for creating video materials. Often a render farm is rented to perform specific tasks.
