It comes from a foreigner Ivan Andreevich Grechaninov , who left for Russia in 1650, who served in the Novgorod equestrian Cossacks and was granted the estate in 1673. His offspring are listed in the VI part of the genealogy of the Novgorod province.

Emblem Description
In the shield, divided into four parts, the first in blue and the fourth in red fields mean two golden stirrups (Polish coat of arms Stirrup ). In the second part, horizontally in two cut in silver and green fields, a sheaf of variables with fields of flowers is depicted, and in the third part six silver cannonballs are pyramidally laid in a black field.
The shield is crowned with a noble helmet and crown. Crest : a lion holding a sword in his right paw. The mark on the shield is red, lined with gold. The coat of arms of the Grechaninovs is included in Part 7 of the General Tombstone of the noble families of the All-Russian Empire, p. 119.
