Maria Aurelia Paula Martinez Suarez ( Spanish María Aurelia Paula Martínez Suárez , creative pseudonyms Sylvia Legrand and Goldie ; born February 23, 1927) is an Argentine actress. She began her career in cinema at the age of 13 with her twin sister Mirta Legrand .

Biography
The future actress, along with her twin sister, was born in 1927 in Villa Canas, a small town in northeast Argentina. After a divorce from the girls' father in 1934, their mother moved them to Rosario in order to give them a better education. In addition to the comprehensive school, children attended a theater studio at the municipal theater. In 1939, the girls were offered roles in the film “Raising Nini” ( Spanish: Hay que educar a Niní ). The tape was successful, the next year, Mirta and Sylvia are already shot in two films. Argentina's largest film studio during this period, Lumiton signs a five-year contract with them. By the maturity of the girls, their filmography amounted to 10 films, where they are shot together. Unlike her sister, who married film director Daniel Tinaire in 1946, Sylvia married a military man and almost ended her artistic career. In 1958-1962, she starred in five films, later in four television series.
