He graduated from high school there in 1973.

In 1979 he graduated from the Physics Department of the Novosibirsk State University . There he underwent a scientific internship in the academic campus at the Institute. Lavrentiev in 1981-82. He worked as a researcher, and then as a teacher at the Frunze Polytechnic Institute (FPI) in 1979-84. He served as an officer in the Air Defense units in the RTV battalion - 1985-1987. Then he returned to work at the FPI. Then he entered the full-time postgraduate study at Moscow State University. Lomonosov in 1989 and graduated with a presentation for the defense of a candidate dissertation in aerodynamics in 1992. He defended the thesis of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences in 1993 at Moscow State University. In Moscow, he began working with Nezavisimaya Gazeta as a correspondent for the countries of Central Asia in 1990 and until graduation in 1992.

After returning to Kyrgyzstan he worked at the National Academy of Sciences and. about. Head of the Department of the Institute of Physics - 1993-94. At the same time he collaborated with the Kutbilim newspaper, then worked there as a department head at the newspaper’s editorial office. In 1994 he was invited for a one-year internship in communication and economics at the University of Bradley, Peoria , Illinois , USA , 1994-95. After returning, he was invited to the USIA office in Kyrgyzstan for the position of adviser to the head of the department for media relations and by the public.

In early 1996, he entered the competition for the post of producer of the Kyrgyz editorial office of the Air Force Radio in London and worked there until the end of the 2-year contract. Upon returning to Bishkek, he was appointed by the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Director of the Kyrgyz National News Agency “Kabar”. He headed the agency for 8 years - 1998 - 2006, worked under two Presidents of the Kyrgyz Republic. In 2006, he was dismissed by order of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic with the wording “in connection with the transfer to another job”, but he did not work at any other job.

In the fall of 2006, he won a Fulbright Program research course and, during one academic year, explored the United States peripheral and regional media. Research conducted at the University of Montana in Montana. He traveled all over the western part of the USA, conducted research and at the same time made presentations at various conferences and meetings at universities. He received a certificate of participation in the Fulbright Journalism Program and is the first professional journalist from Kyrgyzstan to attend the Fulbright Program in the United States. In 2008, he created the independent information agency Zpress.kg. In 2009, he began implementing a project to translate relevant and important analytical materials from the Western media into Russian and Kyrgyz. Created a new specialized website www.inozpress.kg, which publishes daily analytical and news materials from Western media.

In December 2010, he was recruited to the Office of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and appointed Head of the Information Policy Department.

In February 2011, by order of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, he was again appointed, for the second time, as the director of the Kabar Kyrgyz national news agency [2] .

Since 2002, he has been an associate professor at the Kyrgyz-Turkish University Manas and has been teaching journalism at the Faculty of Communication. He prepared a number of well-known journalistic analysts who work in different media.

In 2016, he wrote and published the book “Tynomysyk Akkan Sayasat” (Continuing Current Politics), intended for future journalists and analysts, politicians and teachers. In the same year he was awarded Honorary Diplomas of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament of Kyrgyzstan). And the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for a long and fruitful work. In 2017, by the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic K. Taabaldiyev was awarded the title “Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic”. After Manas University did not renew the contract with him for unknown reasons (?) After 15 years of continuous teaching of a journalism course for students, K. Taabaldieva was invited to teach journalism at another university. For several years in a row K. Taabaldiev was invited as the chairman of the AUCA State Commission for the Protection of theses.

He was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Certificate of Honor of the Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation, the medals “Osh-3000”, “10 years of independence of Kyrgyzstan”.

Thanks to his contacts, the information on the website of the Kabar agency since the beginning of 2017 began to be distributed in Arabic and Chinese, in addition to the four languages ​​in which the agency distributed its information since 2003.

He is married, has a daughter Meerim and a son Meder.
