Cristalus flower ( Latin Schizotus pectinicornis ) is a species of flower -beetles from the subfamily Pyrochroinae . Distributed in Western , Central and Northern Europe [2] . They live in forests on tree trunks, especially on a birch . The body length of adults is 7–9 mm [2] . The pronotum is red, with a small dark brown spot in front of the scutellum [2] .
