“The Red Shoes” (from English - “Red Shoes”) - a song by British singer and composer Kate Bush ; the title track and the third single from the , released on April 4, 1994 and reached the 21st place in the UK charts UK Singles Chart [1] . The plot of the song is a story about a girl who has put on enchanted ballet shoes and is forced to dance until the spell is lifted - based on the film “ Red Shoes ” (1948) by Michael Powell and Emerich Pressburger . The song is also key to the Kate Bush film Line, Cross and Curve (1993), which features songs from the album.

The composition was published on a 7 " vinyl disc, and a two-part CD single . Party" B "of all editions, except for the second part of the CD single, contained the track" You Want Alchemy ".
The second part of the CD single, released a week after the first one, included a 10-minute remix of The Red Shoes by Karl Blagan ( Eng. Karl Blagan ), entitled Shoedance, as well as remixes of Kate Bush's songs “ And Running Up That Hill .
