Romanid is an international artificial language developed by the Hungarian linguist Zoltan Magyar. It is based on Romance languages , which is the reason for its name.

The language is based on the most common phrases in everyday life from several Romance languages - Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French. According to some reports [ what? ] , is popular in Hungary . In a note in the newspaper Trud, it is stated (with reference to unnamed specialists) that in its design it is much simpler and easier to learn than Esperanto .
