Maykop State Technological University

In 1992-1993, in the young Republic of Adygea, by the decision of the first President of Adygea, Aslan Jarimov, at the proposal of Aslan Tkhakushinov , a new university was created. The Government of Russia has accepted the proposal of the State Committee of the Russian Federation on Higher Education, agreed with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economy of the Russian Federation, the State Committee of the Russian Federation for State Property Management and the Cabinet of Ministers - the Government of the Republic of Adygea on the establishment of the State Committee of the Russian Fe era tio Higher Education Maikop State Technological Institute on the basis of Maikop agricultural college of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Maykop road transport technical school of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Maikop Polytechnic College of the State Committee of the Russian Federation for Higher Education. ^[2]

• 1993 , December 13 - creation of the Maykop State Technological Institute (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 12.13.1993 N 1279) ^[3]
• 1994 - Faculty of Economics, Ecology and Technology were established (proper licenses obtained)
• 1995 - participation in the international program "Integration".
• 1996 - The Faculty of Economics was divided into two faculties:
  • economic engineering
  • financial and economic.
• 1996 - new faculties were created:
  • new social technologies
  • agricultural technology.
• 1996 - eight postgraduate studies were opened.
• 1997 - the Institute was admitted to the International Association of Universities at UNESCO.
• 1998 - the establishment of the MGTI branch in the village of Yablonovsky . ^[four]

Opening of a specialized council for the defense of candidate dissertations.

• 1999 - The first graduation of students with higher professional education was solemnly held.
• 2001 - commissioning of new educational buildings, creation of a laboratory for fermentation and winemaking at the Faculty of Technology.
• 2003 - the creation of two new faculties:
  • management
  • international education.
• 2003 - MGTI receives the right to educate foreign students.
• 2004 - the Institute was renamed the University ^[5]
• 2004 - the university receives the highest award of the Republic of Adygea - the medal "Glory of Adygea" for its contribution to the development of education.
• 2006 - election of the rector of MSTU Tkhakushinov Aslancheriy Kitovich as the President of the Republic of Adygea.
• 2007 - elected to the post of rector of MSTU Blyagoz, Khazret Ramazanovich , doctor of technical sciences, professor.
• 2012 - the removal by the Ministry of Education of the rector Blyagoz Kh. R. and the appointment of and. about. Rector Kabanova N. I.
• 2013 - appointed and. about. Rector Kuizhev S.K.
• 2014 - Saida Kazbekovna Kuizheva was elected as rector of the MSTU
• since March 19, 2019 - re-elected to the post of rector of MSTU Kuizheva Saida Kazbekovna (96 votes out of 100 conference delegates). ^[6]

Today at MSTU there are 10 faculties, at the faculty of international education, where students from Chad , Afghanistan , Turkey , Syria , Libya and other countries of the near and far abroad study, students from more than 30 countries of the world are studying ^[7] . Since its inception, more than 14 thousand citizens with higher education have already left the walls of MSTU (2019).

Educational activities are carried out in 31 areas of bachelor's training, 6 specialties, 12 master's programs, 26 enlarged groups of areas of training and 11 programs for the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel in graduate school, 3 residency programs, 13 specialties of secondary professional education. ^[eight]

In the FSBEI HE “MSTU” various areas of international cooperation are actively developing. The University is a member of the International Association of Universities at UNESCO , the International Association of Automobile and Road Education. The geography of university ties covers countries such as Germany , France , Chad , Turkey , Israel , Ukraine , Moldova , Azerbaijan , Abkhazia , Belarus , Kazakhstan . MSTU is developing partnerships under international cooperation agreements with 20 foreign universities, including: Erfurt Technical University ( Germany ), Vienna University of Agriculture ( Austria ), National University of An-Najah ( Israel ), Belgrade University ( Slovenia ), School of Business Čačak ( Serbia ), Bukovinian University ( Ukraine ), Poltava University of Consumer Cooperatives (Ukraine) and others. ^[9]

MSTU is an educational institution that trains specialists with higher education in the field of construction, geodesy and land management, vehicles, forestry and landscape architecture, agriculture, mineral exploration and development, food technology, environmental management and environmental protection, health care ^{[10 ]} .

• 1998 - A branch of MSTU was established in the village. Yablonovsky of the Republic of Adygea , for the implementation of primary and secondary vocational education programs, where more than 1700 students are studying ^[11] .
• 2000 - the branch received an appropriate license for the right to conduct educational activities in the field of higher and additional professional education, issued by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation . On average, more than 110 students study annually at the branch.

Scientific staff : 70 doctors of sciences and 360 candidates of science work at FSBEI HE "MSTU" ^[13] . The percentage of faculty with academic degrees and titles is over 70% ^[14] .
