The coast of Proshchishcheva is the eastern shore of the Taimyr Peninsula , bounded by the Faddey Bay in the north and the beginning of the Khatanga Bay in the south.

The length is about 380 km. Arctic tundra predominates [1] , many small lakes .
The shore was named in 1913 by the expedition of Boris Vilkitsky in honor of the Russian polar explorer Vasily Pronchishchev .
