Early years
Adrien Brody was born on April 14, 1973 in New York into a Jewish family. His parents are photojournalist Sylvia Crying and history teacher Eliot Brody. He spent all his childhood in Woodhaven , Queens [1] .

An awkward moment occurred during the opening ceremony, which was later widely covered by the media. In his welcoming speech, Adrien Brody mentioned Stanislavsky , which caused an incomprehensible laugh of the festival president Nikita Mikhalkov, and after that the whole hall.
