Biography
Born May 8, 1901 in Chernigov on the territory of the Russian Empire in the family of Russian General P.V. Maksimovich.
She was an unmarried sister of Vasily Maksimovich . With the help of her brother, she led the clinic in Choisy-le-Roi . Subsequently, she organized a camp in Verne , near the Pyrenees . Her father was a royal general, Anna herself was a monarchist.
She came to France in 1922 and lived in house No. 12 along Biato, in Colon, and then at the Chateau de Bijeron in Lyuny -Champagne (Cher department) . In 1937, Anna Maksimovich wrote her memoirs, “The Bolsheviks Are Coming”.
In 1941, Anna and Vasily Maksimovich recruited Kete Felkner and persuaded her to cooperate with Leopold Trepper in Paris .
Anna Maksimovich was arrested on December 12, 1942 and subsequently executed.
